OK, GO hear this

Last night in Houston; Steve Burns, The Lashes, and OK GO.

Great show all around, but let me tell you, OK GO's A Million Ways stole my heart. Go to the OK GO site and play their video. They did that live at the concert, and it was superbly silly. They're an interesting sound, and worth a listen. When you've seen the video, come back and tell me what you think. And then go play their cute little video game. Who DOES that?

And for going to this and enjoying it, I am the coolest mom ever, apparently.

You're so rockin' Fishie! ;) Did you say hi or go incognito? *lol* My sister - who, for the record, supported me through my BC phase but I'm sure secretly thought I was nuts - has been watching Noggin with my new nephew. She called me yesterday to find out why the dogs are the only ones who don't talk, and she wants all my tapes. :P

Heh! Some people come to the party late!

I said hi, and asked a few questions. Interestingly, he was left alone for the most part. I don't know if he liked it better than being swamped by psycho soccer moms. He did say he hadn't seen the Dead video, so I e-mailed him the SBR link.

Mostly he looked tired. He doesn't smile as much.

I know, Rob, I'm so sorry! I'm evil! I e-mailed Tracy and then eight kinds of heck decended with school and I put it out of my head until the day of. It was Saturday at the Proletariat.

He did 6 songs: MLM, >1, and Troposphere. Then 3 I didn't know. I didn't even ask if they were original - I suck so much.

Between you and me, it was so unlike the shows we saw in the beginning as to be unrecognizable. Not all bad, but definitely he looked much less like he enjoyed it this time around.

Fish, I hate that I had to miss the show. I've been ill lately, and just couldn't muster the strength to get out of bed on Saturday. (You KNOW I was sick if I missed a Steve event.) Hubby and the kids had wanted to see him, too, but they wouldn't go without me. I'm such a disappointment - I should turn in my Twinkie badge. ;)

I agree, though, he does look...tired. That much was apparent at his last Houston show - he seemed to be a little burned out on the whole affair.

I miss the old Steve.

Can't believe he hasn't seen the Dead video, though. That one's on my desktop because the kids and I are kind of addicted to it now. lol

Hon, you can't believe the difference in him now. You'd have to see it.

He just looked so uninterested. Poor thing. He said he may have another album if some label picks it up. Well, after what his last label did, I don't wonder he's a little down on it.

He did do "Troposphere," for which I thanked him profusely, then he said he doesn't do it often because it makes him sad. Um, yeah. Why the hecka couldn't he have just done "Maintain?" Or "Dirty Hair Breakfast" or something. Jeepers!

I am so glad I liked the headliners so much. Otherwise I'd have gone home dee-pressed.

Aw, I am a loverly person, thank you.

My husband and I need to get out more, you got to see a live band. We haven't done that in almost a year.

Also, I too love the Magic Eraser. With passion.

Hi, I was out blogging and found your site. It certainly got my attention and interest. I was looking for Cookies information and even though this isn't a perfect match I enjoyed your site. Thanks for the read!
